Meet Andrea Aichele - a licensed clinical social worker contributing her diverse experience from the elementary school setting, hospice centers, and psychiatric hospitals to the Thrive for Life Counseling team. Utilizing a strength-based approach, Andrea is dedicated to assisting individuals in achieving their personal goals.

Andrea works extensively with college-age young adults, particularly athletes, at Thrive for Life Counseling. With her expertise, she helps clients navigate the unique challenges of balancing academics, sports, and personal development, fostering resilience and well-being in their lives. 

Andrea also has extensive experience with children ages 4-12 with whom Andrea addresses issues such as anxiety, depression, self-esteem, school-related challenges, and trauma. 

Andrea is passionate about supporting pregnant and postpartum women particularly in navigating challenges related to perinatal mood disorders. She has completed specialized training through Postpartum Support International (PSI) and serves as a volunteer support coordinator for the organization, underscoring her dedication to the well-being of mothers during this critical time. 

Andrea's expertise includes specialized training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and grief work

Andrea earned her Bachelor of Social Work from Ball State University and her Master of Social Work from IUPUI, holding a license to provide services in the state of Indiana and Florida. Her services are offered via video, phone, and email sessions.

Outside of her professional role, Andrea finds joy in running and creating music.
