Our counseling services cover a broad range of issues, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, relationship problems, grief, stress management, and personal development. We also provide counseling for specific populations, such as couples, families, and individuals. 

Thrive for Life is a 100% virtual counseling practice.  How does online/virtual counseling work? 

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, allows you to connect with a counselor through video, phone, or email platforms. It offers the convenience of accessing support from the comfort of your own space. Our platform ensures secure and confidential communication. 

Is counseling confidential? 

Yes, confidentiality is a fundamental aspect of counseling. Information shared during sessions is kept confidential, except in cases where there is a risk of harm to yourself or others. Our counselors adhere to ethical guidelines and legal obligations to protect your privacy. 

How do I choose the right counselor for me? 

We provide a diverse team of licensed and experienced counselors. You can explore their profiles, read reviews, and consider their specialties to find a counselor who aligns with your needs and preferences. Thrive's front office administrator, can also walk you through the process of finding the best therapeutic fit on our team.  We take this step of the process so seriously because it is essential to feel a connection with your counselor for therapy to be effective. 

How long does a counseling session last, and how many sessions will I need?

Session length can vary.  Thrive offers 30, 45, 50, & 60 min session length options.  The average counseling session is 50 minutes. The number of sessions needed depends on your unique situation and goals. Some people find relief in a few sessions, while others benefit from longer-term support. Your therapist will work with you to develop the best plan for the length and duration of your sessions.

Is counseling only for individuals, or do you offer couples and family counseling?

We offer counseling services for individuals, couples, and families. Our experienced counselors are trained to address a wide range of relational dynamics and family issues. 

How much does counseling cost, and do you accept insurance?

Our counseling fees vary based on the type of service and counselor. We provide transparent pricing information on our website. Several therapists on our team (Emma, Indya, Kelli, & Marilyn) accept insurance which we will bill on your behalf, others (Wendy & Lindsey) are self-pay only and can provide you with a receipt for potential reimbursement from your insurance provider. 

How do I schedule a counseling session?

You can start the scheduling process easily through our website's contact form.  Our front office administrator, will contact you within 24 hours (Mon-Fri) to help you choose a counselor, to provide a cost estimate, and to assist you with start up paperwork.  If you have any difficulties, our customer support team is ready to assist you. 

What are the steps before my first counseling session?

  1. Fill out the contact form on Thrive's website.

  2. A staff member will send electronic start-up paperwork to you for completion.

  3. If you have insurance, share the information for benefits verification and cost estimate.

  4. Submit a photo ID.

  5. Schedule your first counseling session.
